How to Use Dynamic Templates for Blog Posts

Dynamic templates allow you to automate the layout of your blog posts, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all posts. By using global blocks, you can create a single template that applies to every post automatically.

1. Creating a Dynamic Template

Before assigning a template, ensure your blog post layout includes Dynamické prvky such as

• Post Title
• Featured Image
• Post Excerpt
• Post Date

Once these elements are in place, follow these steps:

1. Open the Block Settings on the left.
2. Klikněte Make It Global.
3. A condition settings panel will open.

2. Assigning the Template to All Blog Posts

By default, the global block will be applied only to the current post. To apply it across all blog posts:

1. In the condition settings, select Příspěvky instead of individual pages.
2. Klikněte Apply to All Posts to ensure every blog post uses this template.
3. If you want to exclude a specific post, select it and choose Exclude.
4. Klikněte Save to confirm changes.
5. Update the page to finalize the global template.

3. Testing the Template on a New Blog Post

To verify that the dynamic template works:

1. Open the CMS Dashboard.
2. Klikněte Add New Post nebo Duplicate an Existing Post.
3. Enter a Post Title, add a Featured Image, and write a New Excerpt.
4. Publish the post and save changes.
5. Klikněte Edit to preview the layout.

Since the dynamic template is applied globally, the new post will automatically follow the same structure without requiring manual formatting.
