How to Add and Customize a Map on Your Webpage
Adding a map element to your contact page is a great way to help visitors find your location easily.
1. Adding a Map Element
- Open the Elements Panel on the left.
- Find the Map Element under "Media."
- Click, hold, and drag it to your desired position on the page.
2. Setting Your Location
- Click on the map to activate the settings.
- In the Options Toolbar (left panel), enter your address in the location field.
- The map will automatically update to display your location.
3. Adjusting Zoom & Display
- Use the zoom controls to zoom in or out for a better view of your location.
- Adjust the map's width and height:
- Manually: Drag the handlebars on the corners.
- Precisely: Use the width & height settings in the left panel (set in % or px).
4. Customizing the Map Style
- Apply filters to change the appearance.
- Adjust alignment (left, center, or right) to fit your design.
- Change the background color if needed.
5. Optimizing for Mobile & Tablet
- Switch to Tablet View to ensure the map fits properly on smaller screens.
- Resize or reposition if necessary.
